We are currently seeking applicants who are interested in being considered for our upcoming summer internship program as potential IT Internal Audit Interns! Position Summary The purpose of the Internal Audit Department is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve ERIE's operations. The mission of internal audit is to enhance and protect organizational value by providing independent risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight. The Internal Audit Department helps the organization accomplish its strategy and objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. Under close supervision, performs functional duties for assigned division. Performs special projects as required. Duties and Responsibilities Performs various tasks related to the achievement of division objectives. Conducts research and gathers information and assists in creating presentations as required. Analyzes data and reports findings. Verifies and enters data into appropriate system, and updates electronic files. Provides clerical and administrative support as needed. Completes special projects as required. The first four duties listed are the functions identified as essential to the job.
