The American Heart Association’s Internship Program provides college students an opportunity for hands-on experience in various facets for individuals interested in gaining work experience with a non-profit, voluntary health organization. The Healthy Living team is integral to the mission of the American Heart Association, striving to ensure that all with cardiovascular conditions or risk factors have the care, resources and support to survive and thrive. This team leads organizational strategy to improve the diagnosis, treatment, condition management, and quality of life for patients living with cardiovascular disease, stroke, or a risk factor. The Healthy Living team is seeking an intern with an interest in public health including program development, implementation, and evaluation. Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in program and project management and consumer message testing/consumer insights research and/or nutrition.
