About The Position
This 10-week program focuses on hands-on learning, skill development, and real-world work experience in a collaborative and innovative environment. The internship will take place from June to August in the Sheridan Park office. The successful candidate will support the Global Procurement team in strategic category management and supplier optimization. This includes leading high-priority sourcing activities such as RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, and contributing across the full procurement lifecycle.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or Accounting
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and negotiation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and general internet tools
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Ability to influence and build relationships internally and externally across all levels
- Previous internship or co-op experience

Responsibilities
- Support identification and management of cost optimization opportunities across assigned spend categories through bid processes, contract negotiations, and supplier consolidation
- Provide strategic and market insights on annual spend across categories and suppliers
- Build financial models and develop presentation materials with input from executive stakeholders
- Evaluate industry trends and assess potential business implications
- Conduct third-party research to support procurement initiatives
