The Salesforce Finance organization comprises various teams that provide insights into the company’s financial performance. As a Finance Intern, you will have opportunities to work directly with global teams, influencing Salesforce's present and future, with a particular focus on Agentic innovation, business partnering, and data-driven financial insights. In this role, you will assist managers within one of Salesforce's Finance functions, including Controllership, Revenue Operations, Finance & Strategy, Treasury, Compliance, Procurement, Internal Audit, and the Office of the CFO. The summer internship offers a fast-paced and challenging environment, providing valuable professional experience, connection with an intern community, professional development, and insight into Salesforce's innovative world.

Requirements

  • Currently studying Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a similar field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the willingness to speak in front of senior leaders and large groups.
  • Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets modeling and data analytics skills, with a foundational understanding of how to apply data insights.
  • Intellectual curiosity, fueled by a proactive approach to continuously expand one’s skillset, particularly in digital technologies, data, and AI.
  • Highly motivated, self-aware, collaborative, and responsive.

Nice To Haves

  • PowerPoint/Google Suite presentation building skills, with an aptitude for data storytelling and visualization to convey financial insights effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial statement review and analytics.

  • Integrate data flows across multiple systems to streamline data retrieval and analysis.
  • Assist in the creation and refinement of digital decision support tools.

  • Contribute to initiatives involving advanced analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI), to solve complex financial problems and enhance decision-making.
