About The Position

Volvo Construction Equipment Finance & Business Control supports the North American organization by delivering business control services that strengthen financial operations and informed decision-making. As an intern, you will contribute to key finance activities while gaining practical experience in a global, diverse, and collaborative team. This part-time internship supports the Construction Equipment North American Sales Hub through a range of finance and business control activities. The intern will support core financial operations, reporting, analysis, and performance monitoring. This role will also contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business process controls, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing a B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to starting of the internship
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75
Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week
Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications
Understanding of the 3-Way matching principle for Accounts Payable
Ability to work independently or with little supervision
Strong team player who collaborates effectively and consistently meets deadlines
Excellent organization and communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
