Requirements

Currently enrolled in the Founder's College at Butler University and participating in the school's internship program
Solid technical accounting knowledge
Effective time management
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills preferred, including Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
Problem-solving attitude
Willingness to take initiative
Close attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
Interns must maintain a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0
Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person
Applicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Assist with administrative and client service tasks aligned to your training and skill level
Collaborate on team projects and contribute to a professional work environment
Work with client teams to prepare engagement materials, assist with financial date reviews, and contribute to documentation and workflow processes that support audit and tax engagements
Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers
