The Intern Estimator will assist with preparing cost estimates for projects, or services to aid management in bidding on or determining price of product or service. Based out of our Rapid City, SD corporate location.

Requirements

• Valid, Active Driver's License
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel) are required
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States to be eligible for this position.
• Individuals with temporary visas (including, but not limited to E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, or TN) or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.

Responsibilities

• Contact suppliers for pricing
• Familiarize with bid documents
• Inform others within the department of project status and current assignments
• Assist other members of the estimating team
• Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future products
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
