Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advance degree degree in Environmental Health Science or related discipline and actively enrolled through completion of the internship.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience in Environmental, Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses EHS impacts and develops/implements programs to reduce risk as well as achieve and maintain compliance.
  • Support implementations of sustainability initiatives that drive continuous improvements and achieve and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates with business partners for EH&S concerns regarding facilities and employee practices.
  • Collaborates with sites to define controls for EHS program to maintain the policies.
  • Influences others outside of own job area regarding safe policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Establishes and tracks plans to achieve and maintain compliance and to reduce risk.
