Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advance degree degree in Environmental Health Science or related discipline and actively enrolled through completion of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience in Environmental, Health and Safety.
Responsibilities
- Assesses EHS impacts and develops/implements programs to reduce risk as well as achieve and maintain compliance.
- Support implementations of sustainability initiatives that drive continuous improvements and achieve and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
- Coordinates with business partners for EH&S concerns regarding facilities and employee practices.
- Collaborates with sites to define controls for EHS program to maintain the policies.
- Influences others outside of own job area regarding safe policies, practices, and procedures.
- Establishes and tracks plans to achieve and maintain compliance and to reduce risk.
