As an Engineering Project Coordinator Intern, you will be crucial to the organization of engineering projects, helping to keep timelines on track, resources aligned, and communication flowing between engineers, vendors, and stakeholders. Your work will ensure projects move smoothly from concept to completion, delivering high-quality results on time and within scope.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. - Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite including Teams.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset—comfortable asking questions, seeking clarity, and suggesting improvements.
  • An interest in learning how engineering projects are executed from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking engineering project milestones using tools like Teams, Outlook, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items to keep everyone aligned.
  • Support engineers in compiling technical documentation, drawings, and compliance reports.
  • Monitor project budgets and resource allocations, flagging potential risks or delays.
  • Help maintain version control for project files and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Research vendors, materials, and technical solutions to support project needs.
