You will report to the Common Q and CE Safety Systems Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Completed Sophomore year of college
  • Experience in AutoCAD/3D Modeling software

Responsibilities

  • Issue drawings, bill of materials and technical specifications for I&C Safety System products
  • Compile technical and quality documentation for procurement, testing and manufacturing of Safety System hardware products
  • Develop engineered solutions and part change evaluations to address obsolescence issues for several electrical products
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing facilities to support technical issue resolution
  • Help develop equipment qualification test procedures, support during testing, evaluate test results and review final reports
  • Provide engineering support to customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and shop operations for a variety of products
  • Perform engineering calculations to support design or analysis of products
  • Complete assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements
