Our internship program is designed to provide opportunities for students to work on projects that impact the business and drive value across the function. This is a temporary summer intern role. During this internship, students will gain meaningful and translatable experiences through value-added assignments as an active member of our operations team. Projects for the summer could include: Gauge Plans for 80s Part Numbers Programming new vision system for High Volume part number (Shifted new Gauging System for Dawn). Calibrated Gauge Reduction Project COTR workflow improvements (develop Tools to speed up reviews) Projects Relevant to 80/20 not running yet. CNC Time Studies for either Project Dawn assets or Keyseater. Plant Map CAD updates. RCCA on 80/20 focus WC’s to eliminate carryover – scheduling changes starting week of 3/30 Tooling plans for 80 machines to eliminate downtime Bar cutting moved to SH to free critical floor space in DG Future state mapping for DG, SH – optimize work flow/reduce wasted motion SOP/SW – to capture best practice and build training standards Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes, setups, fixtures, and cycle times; provide training and floor support as needed
