Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program pursing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of SW Development Lifecycle
  • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in use of basic electrical tools, i.e., oscilloscope, multimeter
  • Demonstrated success in resolving technical challenges by leveraging strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Some Software development experience in Python and C++ is a plus
  • Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
  • Part-time availability year round

Responsibilities

  • Engineering Experimentation of optical elements
  • Execution of engineering test plans
  • Technical report generation
  • Technical writing
  • Support imaging optical verification
  • Support of optical validation including tasks such as engineering experimentation, execution of test plans, and report generation.
  • Design and implementation of engineering equipment such as electrical & mechanical testing.
