About The Position

This internship opportunity at Philips is for individuals currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company. The intern will contribute to improvements in embedded-product quality and engineering productivity by identifying opportunities to automate repeatable test procedures and building practical test solutions. They will collaborate with embedded systems engineers to understand product behavior, develop test approaches, and validate solutions against real device requirements. The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing automated test tools, scripts, fixtures, or supporting infrastructure. The intern will also help collect, organize, and communicate test results through clear reporting, dashboards, or visualizations. There is potential to explore data analytics and AI-assisted methods to summarize test results, organize logs, identify patterns, and surface potential engineering insights. Engineering teams will review conclusions and determine appropriate actions. The intern will gain hands-on experience with embedded systems, test automation, and cross-functional product development while delivering well-documented tools, prototypes, analyses, or process improvements.
