About The Position

As an Intern Electrical Engineer at CDG Engineers, you will be a key player in developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will work alongside the EE team to design and implement electrical systems for a variety of industries, including power utilities, renewable energy, and heavy industrial. Your ability to learn new technologies quickly and your commitment to quality will be essential to your success in this role.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a Junior graduating in 2029, or a Senior graduating in 2028, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrated class/academic expertise in T&D Substation design.
• Demonstrated class/academic expertise in Renewable Energy - Solar, BESS, Electrification.
• Demonstrated class/academic expertise in Power Engineering with a focus on heavy industrial systems.
• Demonstrated class/academic expertise in Automation Engineering or Programming - PLC, DCS, or SCADA Systems.
• Demonstrated class/academic expertise in System Relaying.

Nice To Haves

• Working ability with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
• Working knowledge of PVsyst or similar solar design software.
• Working knowledge of SKM, ETAP, or similar electrical modeling software.
• Working knowledge of electric utility industry and environmental issues.
