Summary: As the Intern – Electrical Engineer (Power), you will support the design, fabrication, testing, and evaluation of power-related electronic products and prototypes. You will gain hands-on engineering experience while contributing to product development and production support at NAI. This Internship is for Summer 2027.

Requirements

Pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Demonstrate knowledge of electrical circuits, schematic capture, and power-supply fundamentals.
Demonstrate proficiency with standard Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Communicate effectively and apply analytical problem-solving skills.
Candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status.

Nice To Haves

Possess coursework, project, or internship experience related to power supply design or embedded electronics.
Demonstrate familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other engineering test equipment.
Demonstrate exposure to programming languages such as C or C++.
Demonstrate curiosity and a strong interest in electronic product development.

Responsibilities

Build and evaluate prototype circuitry under engineering guidance.
Develop, review, modify, and validate C and assembly code for DSP controllers
Test and debug electronic hardware to the component level.
Develop test procedures and document engineering evaluations of products and requirements.
Support investigation and resolution of design issues affecting production hardware.
Create and maintain schematics using engineering design tools.
Support programming, automated testing, and technical reporting activities for power-related products.
