About The Position
Supports the building components design team by learning core drafting and design tasks while gaining hands-on experience in a production environment. Works under close supervision to assist with component layouts, documentation, and project support.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of drafting or design concepts
- Willingness to learn and follow direction
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage time across assigned tasks
Nice To Haves
- Pursuing a degree or technical certificate in drafting, design, engineering, construction management, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Assist designers with basic component layouts and drafting tasks under direct supervision
- Prepare and organize project documentation, drawings, and design files
- Learn company design standards, tools, and production processes
- Support the team with revisions, data entry, and project tracking
- Apply feedback to build technical skills and professional judgment
