Requirements

  • A current undergraduate or graduate student, rising junior/senior preferred , Data Science Statistics/Mathematics Econometrics Computer Science Applied Mathematics Economics
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic, fast paced high- tech environment
  • Self-starter who’s not afraid to try innovative ideas and learn by doing
  • Visionary leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for leveraging data to drive decision making
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with Python (especially scikit-learn, pandas, numpy )
  • Familiarity with causal inference concepts (ATE, HTE, propensity scoring, instrumental variables, etc.)
  • Exposure to machine learning workflows and model evaluation
  • Understanding of experimental design and A/B testing frameworks
  • Comfort working with large datasets and feature engineering
  • Strong statistical intuition and ability to question assumptions
  • Ability to translate complex quantitative findings into business recommendations
  • Clear communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Help structure and document a standardized experiment analysis plan.
  • Create repeatable documentation templates for future HTE analysis.
  • Assist in refining feature inputs and model specifications.
  • Support validation of assumptions and model stability.
  • Ensure reproducibility and documentation of DML methodology .
  • Select and analyze one live or recent experiment.
  • Use DML to estimate heterogeneous treatment effects across: Risk tiers Score bands Traffic cohorts External signal overlays (if applicable)
  • Compare heterogeneous results vs average treatment effect.
  • Translate technical DML outputs into actionable Yield recommendations.
  • Identify segments with: Positive incremental lift Neutral impact Negative or adverse effects
  • Recommend targeting, routing, or pricing adjustments where applicable
