MidAmerican Energy Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented college intern to join our Health and Safety team and gain hands-on experience supporting these critical efforts. The intern will assist with the development and maintenance of safety training materials and reports, support the coordination and logistics of safety meetings, training events, and help ensure safety resources are well organized, accessible, and aligned with corporate standards. This role is ideal for a student eager to learn and interested in contributing to meaningful safety initiatives that protect our people and the communities we serve. This position includes some travel/overnight travel within MidAmerican service territory. This position is temporary, nonexempt, and full-time/hourly through the summer. MidAmerican Energy Company, a Midwest utility, provides regulated electric and natural gas service to more than 1.6 million customers in Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.
