About The Position

Geosyntec is seeking a limited-term Intern to assist its Corporate Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions Teams. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) intern position for approximately 13-15 weeks during the summer of 2026. The position will be based in the Boca Raton, FL office, with a hybrid work schedule potentially available. Geosyntec is an international engineering and consulting firm focused on environmental, natural resources, and civil infrastructure projects for private and public-sector clients. The firm is recognized for its technical leadership, extensive experience, and client service.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program focused in Finance
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to remain motivated even when performing repetitive tasks
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on skills leveraging Excel for complex tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Coursework in accounting and corporate finance

Responsibilities

  • Review, test, and help improve corporate finance-managed dashboards and reports
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis of company financial performance and other KPIs
  • Assist with financial and business diligence of potential acquisition targets
  • Develop financial projections and assist with company valuations
