About The Position

This internship provides analytical support to the Commercial Finance team in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting. The intern completes duties related to month-end close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and general business analysis. The role is based in Rochester, New York, with a primary work environment in a professional corporate office. The position is listed as full time and offers an hourly salary range of $19.00 to $29.50. Benefits for eligible employees include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k).

Requirements

Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an undergraduate or graduate-level program.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Excellent oral and written communication and interaction skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Solid financial acumen and analytical and problem-solving ability.
Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented, positive, highly motivated, and change-oriented approach, with the ability to work with people at all levels.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
For an undergraduate internship: high school degree or equivalent. For a graduate internship: bachelor's degree.
Ability to travel commercially to domestic and international locations.

Responsibilities

Assist with collecting monthly financial data and analyzing monthly financial results.
Support monthly and quarterly forecasting, planning, and reporting.
Assist in preparing the monthly financial reporting package.
Assist with ongoing projects as needed.
Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis as assigned.
