About The Position

As a Commercial Lines Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of branch and team leadership to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry. Requirements

  • Current college student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and administrative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Basic problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Interest in the insurance industry and a desire to grow professionally
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and team-oriented mindset
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Insurance & Sales 101 training sessions to build foundational knowledge.
  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns using Salesforce.
  • Monitor and contribute to social media platforms to promote company messaging.
  • Support research and presentation of industry-specific insurance topics.
  • Shadow Producers to observe sales techniques and client engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members on assigned projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in organizing and tracking campaign performance metrics.
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation in agency systems.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative planning for outreach efforts.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions and planning.
  • Support the preparation of client-facing materials and presentations.
  • Engage in professional development and learning opportunities.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues and leadership.
