About The Position
Lyten is seeking a Commercial Legal Intern to assist the legal team with commercial contracting and contract management due to an increase in business and vendor agreements. This role will directly contribute to improving contract turnaround time, standardization, and overall legal operational efficiency. The internship will run for up to 12 weeks and will include onboarding, active contract support, process improvement initiatives, and a final presentation. The capstone project will focus on Commercial Contract Process Improvement and Clause Standardization.
Requirements
- Current 1st, 2nd or 3rd year law student
- Able to lift 20-30 lbs.
- Able to stand for up to 5 hours
Responsibilities
- Assist with reviewing and summarizing NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements, and other commercial contracts
- Maintain contract trackers
- Support clause library and template updates
- Conduct legal research
- Assist with procurement-related legal requests
