About The Position

This role involves assisting multiple teams within the company, including Project Management, Project Superintendents, and the Estimating Team. The intern or co-op will gain exposure to various aspects of construction project lifecycle, from planning and execution to cost estimation and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of construction principles and practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or co-op experience in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with construction management software.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in coordinating contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications.
  • Assist Project Superintendents in supervising field construction activities, including safety policy enforcement, craft and subcontractor management, scheduling, quality control, problem-solving, and permit/inspection processes.
  • Assist the Estimating Team in preparing construction budgets, evaluating offers, obtaining bids, resolving cost discrepancies, and preparing reports.
