About The Position

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking an intern for its Cash Services department. This is a paid, full-time summer internship lasting approximately 10-12 weeks, from mid-to-late May to August. The intern will work with Cash officers on District/System Cash Strategies, assist in creating execution plans, and collaborate with multiple District Cash offices and RES and FedCash Services on various projects. The role also involves coordinating with the CSO team on Cash project activities, including AI design and implementation, and helping to develop key artifacts for the Cash Mission, Vision, and Priorities. The internship is located in the Dallas or Houston office and is part of a prestigious, cohort-based program offering meaningful work, mentorship, exposure to central banking, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

Undergraduate student with an interest in Communication and/or Business Development, Program or Project Management.
Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Role is not available for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Work with Cash officers on District/System Cash Strategies, assisting/leading creating plans of execution.
Work with all three District Cash offices along with interactions with RES and FedCash Services to assist on multiple projects.
Coordinating with the CSO team on Cash project activities including AI Design and implementation to create efficiencies and improve productivity.
Helping develop/mature key artifacts (such as District Cash charter, SLA’s, etc.) for our Cash Mission, Vision, and Priorities around development and communication.
