About The Position

As a MuleSoft Integration intern, you will get real time exposure to integration with Salesforce and other Enterprise applications using MuleSoft. You will report to the Engineering Delivery Manager. An internship with American Family Insurance is a great opportunity to build your skillset and explore your career interests. Our summer student internship is a 10 to 14 week program that starts in mid to late May and ends in August. During your internship, you'll work on impactful projects that make a difference at our company, with our customers, and in our communities. You'll also gain exposure to different areas of our business and have numerous opportunities for networking and coaching.

Requirements

  • Must be in student status at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship, graduating August 2027 or later.
  • Strong coding experience with Java or C.
  • Computer Science, or related majors, strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
  • Must be currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program.
  • Must have achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture and structure to support work initiatives.

  • Supports and plans work on small projects with direction from management.
  • May assume the duties normally performed in the department, alongside professionals who perform these roles.
  • Presents project results to management and/or department personnel.
  • Performs analytical work within the assigned functional area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
