About The Position

We are hiring an Intermissions Program Coordinator to plan, develop and manage the overall operation of the Intermissions community-based social activity programs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a geriatric setting required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Creative & Expressive Arts background is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with Resident Life and Health Services to facilitate the effective delivery of service to participants and assessment of program outcomes
  • Managing the internal marketing of the Intermissions Program to residents, families, and staff
  • Coordinating acceptance of participants into the program and discontinuation of services as needed.
  • Facilitating the exchange of information with residents’ families, caregivers, staff, and support systems
  • Educating staff and volunteers regarding residents’ abilities, preferences, and program interventions
  • Scheduling and documenting in-service programs for staff and volunteers
