About The Position
You will join the SBU Core team, the engineering team that protects and improves our core platform. You will handle higher priority maintenance, mandates, technical debt, and platform reliability work that goes far beyond standard configuration or typical roadmap feature development. In your daily work, AI re-engineers how software gets built, meaning code production and testing are structured around automated efficiency so you can move faster without lowering the bar on reliability. You will own the health of endpoints and services that power global indirect bookings, ensuring our systems remain scalable and performant as we integrate with more world class partners.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Track record of deploying distributed systems in AWS environments.
- Understanding of robust API design and its impact on partner integrations and platform health.
- Experience setting standards and building AI-assisted systems.
- Strong understanding of testing and the test pyramid, using JUnit and Mockito.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to break down loosely defined problems into clear technical plans.
- Ability to collaborate across product and partner-facing teams.
