About The Position

SRC CAN Ltd is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of next-generation EW Operational Support Systems (EWOSS) including Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) and Operational Mission Data (OMD) product solutions for the Department of National Defence (DND). This role will leverage software engineering skillsets to support the SRC enterprise portfolio of signals intelligence (SIGINT) and EW suite of advanced software including Radio Frequency (RF) modeling and simulation products. This role requires strong technical and data engineering skills, collaboration, and familiarity with Agile methodologies such as the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment. While the role is primarily technical, it will involve mentoring team members and contributing to people-management activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Three (3+) years of experience in software development.
  • Applied knowledge and experience with the development of distributed software systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think independently, and overcome technical challenges.
  • Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent English verbal/written communication skills required.
  • Proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Candidates must meet the requirements of export control and security regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and be eligible to hold a Government of Canada Level 2 (Secret) Security Clearance.
