About The Position

AeroVironment is seeking an Intermediate Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to lead or participate in analyses of future Missile Defense System (MDS) architectures and concepts, and to support development of modeling and simulation tools for architecture assessment. The role assesses capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats, and develops potential architecture solutions to mitigate gaps or improve performance. The engineer will help plan and conduct analyses, use MDS simulation tools, process and evaluate results, and prepare architecture analysis briefs and reports. The position also supports modeling and simulation efforts to tailor tools to specific analysis plans. Applicants must meet applicable ITAR/EAR requirements: they will be asked to provide documentation verifying U.S. person status, and some positions may require current U.S. citizenship due to contract requirements.
