About The Position

Our client, a prominent leader in the mining industry, is seeking a seasoned Electrical Power Engineer with 7-10 years of experience in a comparable position. The company is expanding its team and requires your expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Expertise designing, analyzing, and implementing electrical power systems for at least five years
• CAD software proficiency for electrical design
• Knowledge of power system analysis applications like ETAP, PSS/E, or SKM
• Knowledge of the NEC, IEEE, and IEC codes, standards, and laws that govern electrical power systems

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and test electrical power systems.
• Using CAD software, create schematics, diagrams, and layouts for electrical systems.
• Use software instruments like ETAP, PSS/E, or SKM to carry out power system analysis and modeling.
• For planned initiatives, carry out cost-benefit evaluations and feasibility studies.
• Working with project managers, other engineers, and clients will help to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Examine and accept the specifications, drawings, and calculations contained in the electrical design papers.
