Project Lead the Way Curriculum (PLTW) - This engineering pathway empowers students to become confident, independent learners through scaffolded, hands-on-activities, projects and problems. PreK-5 embark on their pathway experience with activities like planning a rescue mission for a trapped zoo animal. In grades 6-8, they take on increasingly complex challenges like designing a home from a reclaimed shipping container. Summary/Objective: Provide an enriched atmosphere where students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible members of society. Facilitate learning and guide students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional and psychological growth and maturation.
