About The Position

This role involves designing, developing, and testing embedded systems for industrial sensor and control products. The engineer will work across the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through validation, testing, and production release. Responsibilities include developing software for microcontrollers and microprocessors, contributing to electronic circuit design, troubleshooting technical challenges, and bringing new products to market. The position is part of a collaborative engineering team and requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and learning new technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development.
  • Hands-on experience programming microcontrollers and microprocessors across common architectures.
  • Solid programming skills in C and C++ for embedded applications.
  • Working knowledge of common hardware interfaces and peripherals (timers, analog I/O, serial communication buses).
  • Practical experience with firmware update and bootloader implementation for devices deployed in the field.
  • Working knowledge of electronic circuit design, including power and signal basics.
  • Applies low-power design considerations to battery operated devices.
  • Uses standard lab and debugging equipment to independently troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Demonstrated experience with wireless or wired communication technologies.
  • Applies product testing and compliance requirements to designs.
