Intermediate Design Architect - Aviation
About The Position
DIALOG is seeking a Design Architect to help create impactful, thoughtfully designed buildings that make a lasting impact on communities. Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience working on complex architectural projects
- Professional degree in Architecture required
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to project design from conceptual development through technical documentation and construction administration
- Strong knowledge of Revit and BIM platforms, with experience producing and coordinating architectural documentation
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary consultant teams and coordinating design deliverables
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design ideas to clients, stakeholders, and project teams
Nice To Haves
- Aviation and/or transit experience is preferred
- Registration or progress toward registration is considered an asset
- Experience supporting project pursuits, competition submissions, or proposal development is considered an asset
- LEED AP or other sustainability-focused credentials are considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of complex architectural projects from concept through delivery
- Translate client, stakeholder, and community aspirations into thoughtful architectural solutions rooted in sustainability and performance
- Support the resolution of design and technical challenges while helping maintain design intent throughout project phases
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate architecture, structure, and building systems into cohesive design solutions
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and coordination with authorities having jurisdiction to support project success
- Contribute to a collaborative studio environment by sharing knowledge, supporting team members, and advancing design quality and innovation
