About The Position

Englobe is looking for an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join their Water Resources Engineering Team. The successful candidate will play an important role in design and project management within the Water Resources team. The position requires a broad range of skills and experience in a wide variety of water resource projects and will be based in the Red Deer office.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Registration with APEGA as an Engineer (P.Eng.)
• 5 to 10 years of experience in engineering including design, management, construction supervision, and project management
• Self-motivated, with good leadership, project management and client management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience preferably for water resource related projects
• Experience completing hydrotechnical assessments and hydrology
• Experience with use of hydraulic modeling software

Responsibilities

• Management of projects, contract administration, construction management, and design engineering
• Coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists
• Prepare planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties
• Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met
• Apply and promote health and safety rules and comply with Englobe's quality procedures
