About The Position

Dev.Pro is hiring an Intermediate Business Analyst in Latin America to join its remote-first global team as a contractor. The US-based outsourced software development company works with technology companies to help them scale through software engineering expertise, with team members across more than 55 countries on five continents.

The Business Analyst will bring a technical mindset to a large-scale payments platform and support the delivery of integration-focused solutions. Working closely with Product Managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders, the role translates evolving business needs into clear technical requirements. The successful candidate will navigate ambiguity, clarify complex challenges, and take ownership of requirements while collaborating with an international Scrum team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
• Experience translating business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, backend systems, and data flows.
• Experience documenting API specifications, integration requirements, and data mappings.
• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience creating workflow diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Adaptability and ability to navigate uncertainty and ambiguity while managing multiple priorities.
• Proactive and autonomous mindset with strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with the payments domain.
• Experience with multi-tenant backend platforms.
• Previous technical background or engineering exposure.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in collaboration with Product Managers and stakeholders.
• Translate high-level business needs into epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria.
• Document and maintain API specifications, integration requirements, data mappings, and validation rules.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and end-to-end workflow diagrams.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure requirements are clear and technically feasible.
• Identify gaps, resolve ambiguities, and drive clarity across stakeholders.
