About The Position

The responsibility of the Interior Installation Horticulture Technician is to work with the installation team in daily deliveries of subtropical and flowering plants to all our clients. This person will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized. Some of the work would include receiving plants off a truck that is delivering plants and caring for those plants before they are installed. Other tasks include cleaning plants, preparing plants and containers for installs, watering extra plants, and keeping areas organized.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
  • Experience using standard landscape equipment and tools properly and safely (pruners, pole saw, power shears, and other hand tools).
  • Professional mannerisms, appearance, and actions (self-confident and committed to high ethics)
  • Understanding proper horticultural techniques and willingness to learn from a knowledgeable team.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to keep on a time schedule.
  • Able to communicate verbally and written to clients and team members.
  • Able to work efficiently both individually and in a team with little supervision, making decisions with own initiative and assume responsibility for own work and performing tasks correctly to standards.
  • Project a “good company image” always with a professional appearance, good hygiene, and a clean uniform to our customers and public in and outside of work.
  • Quick decision making, able to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment with strong follow-through and ongoing proactive team player.
  • Must come with a positive attitude and be a goal-oriented self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the installation team in daily deliveries of subtropical and flowering plants to all our clients.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Receive plants off a truck that is delivering plants and care for those plants before they are installed.
  • Clean plants, prepare plants and containers for installs, water extra plants, and keep areas organized.
  • Exceed client’s expectation by providing professional, considerate and efficient services.
  • Operate a box truck.
  • Adhere to company maintenance inspection procedures, report any issues and all accidents regardless of nature immediately and respect legal speed limits as posted.
  • Update and utilize customer management systems in daily work, keeping accurate and up-to-date records on all accounts.
  • Ensure work sites are left in better condition than when we entered them at departure, ensuring no dirt, moss or debris is left behind upon completion of service.
