About The Position

DT Professionals is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team in Norco, CA. This role is responsible for translating concepts into practical design solutions while balancing style, budget, and operational requirements. The Interior Designer will collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality spaces from concept through completion. Success in this role requires strong design expertise, project coordination skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
3+ years of professional interior design experience.
Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, materials, and finishes.
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
Ability to manage deadlines, budgets, and multiple priorities effectively.

Nice To Haves

NCIDQ certification or equivalent professional credential.
Experience designing corporate, healthcare, hospitality, or government spaces.
Knowledge of ADA compliance, life safety codes, and commercial building standards.
Experience managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
Familiarity with sustainable design principles such as LEED or WELL standards.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate design concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Create functional, visually appealing, and effective interior spaces tailored to user needs and project objectives.
Meet directly with clients or stakeholders to understand preferences, operational needs, and project requirements.
Develop design concepts, mood boards, space plans, and material selections.
Prepare specifications for furniture, finishes, flooring, paint, lighting, and décor elements.
Coordinate with furniture, flooring, paint, and other vendor representatives to source products that meet quality and budget standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Review installations and oversee project execution to ensure alignment with approved designs.
Stay current on industry trends, building codes, sustainability practices, and emerging materials.
