About The Position

Northwood Ravin is seeking an Interior Designer to support the design and execution of interior spaces across their luxury multifamily portfolio. This role involves direct involvement from early concept through construction and final delivery, ensuring design intent is carried through every phase of the project. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-driven, and capable of translating design vision into execution, managing multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (required)
  • 5–8 years of professional experience, ideally within multifamily or commercial interiors (luxury multifamily or hospitality strongly preferred)
  • Strong experience in design development, construction documentation, and coordination through project completion
  • Portfolio required, demonstrating ability to develop and execute cohesive design concepts, ideally within luxury or high-end environments
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Clear communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to take ownership of work from concept through construction

Responsibilities

  • Developing design concepts, including finish plans, elevations, and reflected ceiling plans
  • Selecting and tracking finishes, fixtures, and materials across amenity and common areas
  • Collaborating closely with architecture, development, and construction teams to ensure design alignment
  • Supporting construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, and field coordination
  • Conducting site visits and maintaining design quality throughout project execution
