As NFM’s Interior Designer you will be responsible for planning, designing and furnishing residential and commercial buildings. Requirements

• 3 years of retail sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work night and/or weekends based on business needs
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field preferred
• ASID membership preferred
• Broad range knowledge of furniture and furniture styles preferred
• Basic PC skills preferred
• Proofreading skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Circulate the sales floor and approach customers in a timely manner
• Discuss with the client their style preferences, scope of project and investment plan
• Provide in-home services to collect accurate measurements for floor coverings, lighting, furniture, accessories and window treatments
• Counsel client on space planning, layout and color coordination to ensure practical and esthetically pleasing designs
• Lay out all floor, furniture, lighting and budget plans for client approval
• Purchase furnishings, art works, area rugs, accessories etc.
• Reach out to the client to confirm satisfaction of all designer services
