The Role We’re looking for an Interior Designer to join our in-house design team, playing a key role in shaping the resident experience across our multifamily portfolio. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the design team to manage projects from concept through completion, supporting both renovation and new construction projects. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the creativity and collaboration of a design studio while working within the stability and resources of a multi-family development organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • ~4-8 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or similar
  • Strong working knowledge of construction documentation and construction administration
  • Experience with FF&E selection, specs, and procurement
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Design renovation projects from schematic through construction
  • Design direction, finish selection, documentation
  • Manage schedule, budget, and overall execution
  • FF&E selection, specification, and procurement in partnership with procurement agents
  • Work across regional teams, corporate partners, and external consultants
  • Support new development projects with design managers
  • Assist with design process, documentation, FFE, and construction administration
  • Review submittals and RFIs during construction and coordinate with field teams to keep things on track
