Successful interns will possess the creativity, curiosity, motivation, and skills necessary to create conceptual models and advance design ideas with a team.

Requirements

  • Experience with Revit, Sketch-Up, Rhino, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and InDesign
  • Must be in the process of obtaining an Interior Design degree from a CIDA-accredited institution
  • Must be in the 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate degree or in a master’s program
  • Currently pursuing an Interior Design degree from an accredited school

Responsibilities

  • Help in the design process
  • 3D development
  • Selecting and ordering finishes
  • Assisting in organizing and preparing for meetings
  • Incorporating designs into Revit
  • Help produce presentation materials
  • Conducts basic interpretations of sketches, drawings, codes, program, and other similar material
  • Supports project team in development of interior design documentation and presentation materials
  • Assists in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats to continue to project space planning, lighting, material selection, and furniture design
  • Utilizes BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of interiors and their components to develop construction documents
  • Assists in research of concept, benchmarks, materials, typology, and precedents
