We’re a multidisciplinary design firm with a growing global footprint and more than a century of experience shaping some of the country’s most influential spaces—from university campuses and civic hubs to luxury resorts and Fortune 500 workplaces. Our Healthcare Studio is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Healthcare Interior Designer who’s ready to get hands-on across a range of project types and scales. In this studio, we fundamentally believe in the Ask, Listen, Create mantra, which we use every day to deliver successful projects. This role provides diversity and variety in your day-to-day, so our ideal candidate can work independently and flexibly on multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for detail and a collaborative spirit. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design from a CIDA accredited degree program
  • 15+ years of healthcare design experience
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • A desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged manner
  • Experience managing/mentoring junior staff
  • A willingness to travel as occasional travel may be necessary

Nice To Haves

  • NCIDQ certification & LEED accreditation preferred
  • Knowledge and aptitude in other design software platforms preferred, including but not limited to: SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Office 365

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and production while collaborating with a team of interior designers and architects throughout all phases of the design process
  • Oversee the development and completion of conceptual, schematic and design development materials
  • Communicate effectively with team leaders and consultants across offices and disciplines
  • Actively market the firm’s services in coordination with the PIC
  • Maintain design integrity throughout all phases of the project
  • Ensure quality control of drawings and specifications
  • Present design concepts and ideas to clients and prospective clients
  • Lead and mentor staff, as well as foster a team environment, throughout all phases of the project
