About The Position

Norris Furniture & Interiors, a luxury furniture and interior design company in Naples, FL is seeking a Design Assistant to support our top Interior Design Consultants! If you are an individual with a positive disposition, who is passionate about style, loves luxury furnishings and accessories, has a key eye for detail, we would like to hear from you! The ideal candidate for this role is polished, extremely organized, tech savvy, reliable, resourceful, flexible, and has excellent communication skills!

Requirements

• High level of creativity, innovative thinking, and problem solving
• Strong interpersonal communication skills; verbal, listening and written
• Collaborative and professional work ethic
• Strong attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in an administrative role
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills
• Computer skills and proper phone etiquette
• Ability to work in a fast paced, highly professional environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail furniture and/or interior design industry experience a plus
• Ability to work alternating Sundays 12-5 is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Research and verify pricing of product
• Identify and obtain fabrics and finishes
• Order sample materials from vendors
• Assist with preparing presentations
• Monitor and follow up on delivery of goods
• Confirm appointments as needed
• Following-up with purchase orders
• Liaison between the designer and operations
• Provide administrative support as requested
