About The Position
This role focuses on interior design, involving the modification and preparation of production drawings, correction and updating of design documents, and development of solutions to technical and design problems. The position also emphasizes incorporating sustainable design solutions, potentially mentoring junior staff, preparing presentations, building models, and performing design computations. A commitment to fostering a green workplace and excellent client service is expected.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design or foreign equivalent.
- 0 to 3 years’ experience; or equivalent in appropriate education and experience required.
- LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Modifies and prepares production drawings during design development phase.
- Corrects and updates design documents.
- Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
- Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
- May mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff.
- Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
- Builds models for client/project team review.
- Compiles data and performs elementary design computations.
- Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
- Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
