Interior Design Consultant
About The Position
Design Consultants play an integral role in providing luxury service by assessing the needs of walk-in clientele in the RH Gallery. They collaborate and partner with RH Interior Design to ensure clients' design needs are met and expectations exceeded. The role is suited to innovators with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building and maintaining relationships. RH aims to move beyond curating and selling products to conceptualizing and selling spaces through an ecosystem of products, places, services, and spaces. The company values energetic, creative, determined, collaborative people with a strong point of view who focus on finding solutions. The position provides a luxury experience through product expertise and elevated service, supports Gallery visual and quality standards, and represents the RH lifestyle brand through communication, appearance, and professionalism. Physical requirements include lifting and mobilizing items up to 25 pounds, maneuvering around the Gallery, stock room, and office, and prolonged standing and other movements. Local or out-of-state travel may be required.
Requirements

- Proficiency with Mac Operating System, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 pounds using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Ability to maneuver effectively around the Gallery floor, stock room, and office.
- Ability to perform prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing.
- Ability to travel locally or out of state.
Nice To Haves
- Experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail.
- Art, Architecture, or Interior Design education and relevant experience.
- Licensed to drive.
Responsibilities

- Qualify and educate potential clients on services offered by RH Interior Design.
- Own all phases of the client experience, from initial contact through product delivery.
- Grow and maintain a strong client base.
- Ensure fiscal goals are achieved.
- Represent the RH lifestyle brand through communication, personal appearance, and professionalism.
- Maintain a strong interest in the luxury and Design industry.
- Support visual and quality standards within the Gallery.
