Interior Design Co-op (Fall 2026)
About The Position
As an Interior Design Co-op at SHP, you will help shape the experiences people have inside our buildings. From classrooms to offices, you'll design spaces that are functional, inspiring, and human-centered-always in partnership with our architects and engineers. SHP creates places where students learn, communities gather, and organizations thrive. The work is collaborative, bringing together architects, interior designers, and engineers who care deeply about both design excellence and the human experience. As a co-op, you'll be part of that team, gaining hands-on project experience, learning from mentors, and building connections with peers across disciplines.
Requirements
- Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Interior Design.
- Proficient in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Passionate about how design shapes the way people interact with space.
Nice To Haves
- Rendering software skills a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support concept development, finishes, and furniture solutions.
- Build material boards, renderings, and presentation graphics.
- Research user needs and strategies that make interiors healthier and more effective.
- Coordinate drawings and details with architects, engineers, and vendors.
