About The Position

RH Interior Design provides luxury design services for reimagining a single room or an entire home. Design Assistants support key phases of a design project’s lifecycle in collaboration with RH Interior Design, providing client service and product expertise while helping communicate design concepts and selections. The role calls for relationship-building, an entrepreneurial spirit, and an interest in the luxury and design industries. Design Assistants also help uphold the visual and quality standards of the Gallery and represent the RH lifestyle through professional communication and appearance.

• Proficiency with the Mac operating system, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.

Nice To Haves

• Education in art, architecture, or interior design.
• Experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail.
• Hands-on interior installation experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related space-planning or rendering programs.
• Strong artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching capabilities.
• Licensed to drive.

Responsibilities

• Live RH’s vision, values, and beliefs every day.
• Provide clients with a luxury experience through RH Interior Design services.
• Qualify and educate potential design clients about the services offered by RH Interior Design.
• Support all phases of the design process, including consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and delivery.
• Produce brand-appropriate presentations communicating design concepts, space planning, and product selections.
• Provide product expertise and elevated client service.
• Represent the RH lifestyle brand through polished communication, personal appearance, and professionalism.
• Maintain a strong interest in the luxury and design industry.
• Support visual and quality standards within the Gallery.
