About The Position
The Department of Design and Merchandising is seeking applications for part-time, adjunct instructors for the Interior Architecture and Design Program for Spring and Fall 2026. Responsibilities may include teaching undergraduate courses, serving as an internship coordinator, and/or acting as an industry liaison. This position may allow for remote work and has the potential for continuation in subsequent semesters based on departmental and program needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or environmental design.
- 2-years industry experience in architecture, interior design, or environmental design.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated success in teaching at college and university.
- Demonstrated success in developing academic and/or professional development classes.
- Demonstrated involvement in design industry professional organizations.
Responsibilities
- Teach one or more courses in the Interior Architecture and Design Program.
- May teach other required undergraduate courses as needed.
- May serve as internship coordinator and/or industry liaison.
