About The Position

National Aviation Services is seeking a dependable, professional Interior Aircraft Cleaner Supervisor to supervise and coordinate employees engaged in aircraft cleaning operations at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. This position is responsible for supporting daily operations, assigning work, ensuring cleaning standards are met, and providing leadership and guidance to team members.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security credentials, if applicable.
  • Must successfully complete required FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access to airport Security Identification Display Areas (SIDA), if applicable.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays based on operational needs.
  • Must be available to work overtime on short notice when operationally necessary.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license when required by the airport authority to operate a vehicle or equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assign tasks to employees and inspect completed work for conformance to established standards.
  • Issue necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Address employee concerns and/or refer matters to management as appropriate.
  • Record employees’ hours worked on shift reports.
  • Complete all required aircraft cleaning checklists and/or documentation on a daily basis.
  • Submit requests for repair of cleaning equipment as needed.
  • Request or purchase cleaning supplies and equipment when directed by the Station Manager.
  • Perform the duties of Interior Aircraft Cleaners when operationally necessary.
  • Train employees and assist with planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Support employee performance through coaching, guidance, and appropriate feedback.
  • Assist with addressing workplace concerns and resolving operational issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
