About The Position

This is an interim position from January through April, with the potential to extend. The role involves overseeing three early childhood classrooms with a total of 35 children, aged 14 months to 5 years. The director will maintain and adjust schedules to comply with licensing ratios, observe in classrooms to support teacher growth, communicate with parents both daily and through formal newsletters, and collaborate with two other administrators who manage the K-8 section of the school.

Requirements

• 21 years old+
• 1+ year of training in management/supervision of adults
• Knowledge of child development
• ORO STEP 9
• 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccination

Responsibilities

• Oversee three early childhood classrooms with a total of 35 children, ages 14 months-age 5.

• Observe in classrooms to support teacher growth.
• Connect with parents both day to day and formally with newsletters.
• Work collaboratively with 2 other administrators who oversee the K-8 portion of our school.
